Joel is GeNext Solutions' Chief Technology Officer. He has been a leader of custom software development activities in healthcare, scientific and human resource management for over 15 years. His expertise is in mapping workflow to organizational goals and redesigning both process and systems to achieve maximal efficiency with lowest possible user impact.

He specializes in bridging communications between software users and programmers and in the development of communication techniques for spanning disciplinary boundaries. Joel is a multi-disciplinary innovator who has authored advances in software development, business process modeling and social network analysis.  He is the creator of a code generator used to create millions of lines of software code used in live enterprise systems.  He is also the creator of a novel method of collecting social network data which significantly enhances the reliability of data.

Joel has a Ph.D. in Mathematical Behavioral Science from the University of California, Irvine with emphasis in Social Network Analysis and a B.A. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
